  5. BRAINO is a quiz program that was designed to appeal to adults. 
  6.  
  7. It has a number of unique features:
  8.  
  9. 1.  It requires a lot of thought so the completion time may be in
  10. weeks or even months. You will get your money's worth.
  11.  
  12. 2.  It is the first Groff Software Payware Program.  Payware is a
  13. new concept whereby the user is paid by the software author. (See
  14. PAYWARE.TXT for more details.)  There are cash payments for the
  15. persons who can provide the most correct answers to the quizzes.
  16.  
  17. 3.  Each question requires a password which is the correct answer
  18. to the prior question.
  19.  
  20. 4.  Although the questions themselves are not exactly user-
  21. friendly, running the programs is easy.  
  22.  
  23. Here is what we have:

  25. 1.  RULES.TXT  A text program to show you how the games work.
  26.  
  27. 2.  SAMPLE.TXT  A selection of short questions and answers to give
  28. you an idea what to expect.
  29.  
  30. 3.  PAYWARE.TXT  All about the Payware concept.
  31.  
  32. 4.  PRIZES.TXT  About the cash prizes.
  33.  
  34. 5.  BRAINO1,2,3,4.  Four quiz programs.  You start with #1.  See
  35. RULES.TXT before playing the games.
  36.  
  37. 6.  ANSWER1,2,3,4.  The answers.  We provide answers for all but
  38. the last three questions.

  40. 7.  README.1ST.  This program.

  42. Requirements:

  44. No special requirement although you can use a mouse on both the
  45. BRAINO and ANSWER programs.  
  46.  
  47. On the ANSWER program, if you don't have a mouse, press F-10 which
  48. will allow you to use your directional arrows.
  49.  
  50. Here is your chance to exercise your brain and make some money.
